Hello fellow book muncher!
My name is Milena Delgado Laborde. I’ve been in love with fantasy my whole life and delight in creating new and never seen before universes. I was raised between New York and Paris. I speak 6 languages (soon to be more) and I enjoy traveling and seeing the wonders of our world.
What I write:
I write high fantasy novels for adults. As a kid I would read a book or more a day, but throughout my childhood I never came across any characters like me. This inspired me to write magical fantasy novels with older adult characters (Seriously, who put all these kids in charge of saving the world?) who are ethnically, religiously, and sexually diverse (POC, LGBT, pagan, etc).
My debut series is the Phoenix Knights. It’s an Arthurian Celtic pagan high fantasy novel series that centers on the themes of reincarnation, family, divinity, and destiny, and features an elemental magic system and a whole bunch of saving the world shenanigans.
